Essiac tea with Sheep Sorrel roots included!

Welcome to Rene Caisse Tea - Home of Essiac with Sheep Sorrel Roots

Thanks for visiting Rene Caisse Tea.com (formerly EssiacUS.com), the home of Essiac with sheep sorrel roots included!

We are here to serve you! Just click here to email Debbie. Our site is pleased to offer the herbs to make the Classic four herb tea and the resources to learn about its history and the other formulae Canadian nurse Rene Caisse (pronounced REEN CASE) used to help so many people regain their health.

We hang our hat on the research and documentation of Sheila Snow and Mali Klein, who have collectively written five books on Rene Caisse and Essiac (her name spelled backwards). The newest book, The Complete Essiac Essentials, (released March 2011) is available exclusively through this site and Amazon.com. These books are unparalleled in telling the Rene Caisse story and presenting a wealth of practical information on how to grow the Essiac herbs and how to make and take the various Essiac formulae.

Sheila Snow and Mali Klein knew the wisdom in "going to the source" when looking for those correlations that shine the light on bigger questions. This kind of research involves a lot of dogged determination and dedication, and we thank Sheila Snow in this regard, for discovering documentation in Rene Caisse's own handwriting, of the central importance of sheep sorrel root in Essiac. We have changed our name from EssiacUS.com to ReneCaisseTea.com to reflect that the formula we use is the Rene Caisse formula - with sheep sorrel root - as opposed to 99% of what is being sold as Essiac today - and to honor Rene directly!

We combine organically-grown sheep sorrel with sheep sorrel wildcrafted about as far from any pollution sources as you can get, in Idaho and Montana. We use whole herb sheep sorrel and we specifically add ground sheep sorrel roots according to the recommendations in The Complete Essiac Essentials. All four herbs are double-sourced to help ensure a balance of soil nutrients. We also add small amounts of burdock seed and sheep sorrel seed as is recommended in The Complete Essiac Essentials. Instructions for preparing Essiac tea are included with every Essiac order.
