Essiac - An afternoon Seminar about Herbs and Cancer with Mali Klein
Works Progress, 115 N. 85th St., Ste. 202, 3-5:30 pm ($25)
I wish I could be at your seminar. Will you ever come to Bend, Oregon? Dr Katherine Neubauer, one of 5 naturopathic oncologists in the US in private practice just opened her practice here (www.cascadecancercare.com) where she does IV infusion services of nutrients and supplements for cancer patients - so maybe a little bit of healing is finally coming into US cancer care. I am an RN (also herbalist, homeopath...) very interested in the development of Essiac or Hoxsey or other natural cancer approaches in the US. Thank you sooo much for all your work, it is sooo needed. All my best, and hope to see you sometime, Susanne
Thank you for your invite to Bend! It is good to hear that we now have naturopathic oncologists, this is so needed - a balance that borrows from across multiple disciplines. Mali will be back in the UK after a few more weeks, but we are open to doing an Essiac Master class in Oregon or Washington next year - it really boils down to working with someone from the area to get it set up. It is very much about the connections made and where that takes the journey. Oregon and Washington are such great places for growing the herbs that I do see us doing more in the Northwest next fall. And I hope to make a trip out your way in the spring to visit Horizon herbs and Pacific Botanicals - if/when the trip plans finalize, I'll post it in the blogs, it would be nice to meet you!
